Takulandilani! Arrival day. Pick up from Chileka International Airport after a warm welcome by our guide and drive off to Mulanje Mountain. You shall spend your first night at Kara O’ Mula Country Lodge. On the second day you shall hike to the Likhubula falls and pools in the morning hours before later being transfer to the colonial city for lunch on the Zomba plateau’s Ku Chawe Hotel.

Today after touring part of the Mulanje Mountain, you shall be transferred to Zomba for lunch at the plateau. Enjoy a horse ride after lunch and be whisked away to Liwonde National Park. Upon arrival on the banks of the Shire River which is part of the natural reserve, you will be transferred on a boat to the Mvuu Camp where you will spend your first 2 nights. The 580sq km park is perhaps the most popular of all of Malawi’s game parks, with its beautiful riverine setting and teeming wildlife offering thrilling safaris. Large number of elephants, countless hippos and crocodiles are among other mammals in the park. Non-stop birding and a visit for a wonderful cultural experience to just one village outside the park are extra activities you can enjoy. Mvuu Camp is located in the heart of the park and offers excellent option for guests who want to enjoy the ultimate bush experience in a comfortable and relaxed setting.

oday you will be transferred to Cape Maclear soon after breakfast, passing Makokola retreat for a delicious lunch. Soon after lunch we will set off for a beach sun set at Cape Maclear spending a night at Pumulani Lodge near Lake Malawi National Park.

You will be transferred today to Sengabay beach in Salima district. When you arrive at the main beach you shall transfer to Blue Zebra Lodge at Nankoma Island by boat for another 2 nights. The Lodge offers 8 exclusive tented en suite chalets each overlooking the lake with some of crystal clear waters. The chalets are set in an unspoiled environment and guests are surrounded by nature and luxury. Guests are free to chill at the infinity pool, Kayak around the islands or enjoy a game of volleyball as part of the board package besides the delicious meal.You can enjoy snorkeling at free usage of the available equipment to view the unique colourful fish that inhabit every inch of the coastline.

On this final day of our tour, you will say goodbye to all the goodies and transfer by boat to the mainland at Sengabay after breakfast, meet our guide and drive off to Mua Mission and Dedza Pottery before transferring to Lilongwe. Mua Mission and Dedza Pottery offers Malawi’s cultural life and art. After sampling the art, you shall be transferred to Ufulu garden’s in the capital city of Lilongwe for your last night.

Good things never last forever and on this final day after buying gifts and souvenirs in the morning for family and friends, you will be transferred to Lilongwe International Airport. End of tour.
