Comprised of two platforms: Adventure Tours is responsible for organizing trips around Malawi and City Bikes hires bicycles. Established in 2010 we have grown from a bike rental company to a full-time travel company with the simple aim of giving our clients best experiences.

Malawi, popularly known as the “Warm-heart of Africa” has a number of mountains and plateaus, wildlife and game reserves, lakeshore resorts, beaches and islands, art and culture centres, safe cycling routes and above all its friendly and warm welcoming people. All
these guarantee your best experience!

Most key destinations are based in the south which boasts the most visited and well-stocked
wildlife reserves of Liwonde and Majete, the most hiked 3002m high Mulanje mountain, spectacular Tea Estates, the old colonial Zomba city and its stunning plateau, Lake Malawi National Park with its great shores and islands of Mumbo and Domwe, just to me mention a
few.

Jonathan Tengani
Managing Founder

A priesthood drop-out and has a rich tourism background through his parents who growing up were in the business of selling arts & crafts besides hosting guests from around the world. “Taking our guests for short walks in our small township and surrounding villages for cultural exchange visits was my passion when I was growing up” he explains. The tourism passion got rekindled when he dropped priesthood studies and in quest for more knowledge and exposure travelled to Holland, Belgium, France, Italy and other African countries for short stays. These familiarization trips equipped him with how best he can handle guests of different back grounds, likes and nationalities. He mainly ventured into the tourism industry to fill the “cycling gap” as the other best way guests can see a country knowing Malawi has a great potential. Jonathan is a mountain biker and loves cycling in general that he once served in the office of the Cycling Federation of Malawi” as its vice president for 4 years in order to promote cycling as a sport and culture in general.
